The job is part of the ASML finance organization, within the Business Insights & Control team. Within this department, we are looking for a BI data and reporting analyst for our Center of Improvement. He or she reports to the team lead of the team Reporting & Analytics and will interact with various departments in and outside of finance.

Role and responsibilities

A BI data and reporting analyst within the Center of Improvement department is using analytical tools on (financial) data (models) to:

create actionable business insights that supports the decision making process to increase business value.

And is helping building the Finance analytics organization as part of a larger transformation program.

As the BI data and reporting analyst you will strive to quickly understand business requirements, work with data engineers to correctly structure data and create intuitive and insightful business reports. You will serve in a role that requires creative thinking and will need to keep up with trends in the BI & Analytics space to deploy the most suitable data visualizations for the user community.Additionally, you will perform the following:

  • Work with various Finance teams to gather requirements, create technical design documents and communicate business needs to appropriate technical resources.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and model data for consumption on our data visualization platform.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the Spotfire report development and administrator subject areas.
  • Support the design, development and rollout of Spotfire reports.

Education and experience

  • Minimal a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the area of Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or Econometrics;
  • 3 to 7 years working experience, preferably in a BI or analytical domain in a financial environment;
  • Previous experience working with understanding and documenting business requirements and translating into functional designs;
  • Experience with mainstream BI tools, preferably Spotfire;
  • Experience with CSS and/ or JavaScript is a pre;
  • Experience creating and maintaining visualizations;
