Introduction to the job

The S&SC department plans up to four years ahead while customer requirements and system bill of materials can change at any time. Any break in material availability can have an unacceptable impact for our customers. So, S&SC department must proactively identify and solve potential issues by working closely with our technical departments and customers, and actively managing an extensive supplier base.

The US Cluster Project Lead you will represent ASML Sourcing & Supply Chain (S&SC) towards the cluster and vice-versa, as well as align cross functionally with other internal stakeholders. You support optimizing the Cluster processes, drive efficiency, define standards and take the lead in projects to drive Business Process Improvements in line with the future vision of the Global S&SC organization. As Cluster project lead deploy your focus will be on Sourcing related projects. The prime focus of this job is to deliver successful implementation of process changes and define then drive optimization efforts to improve supplier performance on Cost, Quality, Logistics, Risk and Sustainability all products, as well as standardized/improved internal ways of working.

As the Cluster Project Lead, you drive Business Process Improvement projects to ensure that these are delivered and deployed on-time, within scope and budget. You are in the lead to translate improvement projects into a clear scope, planning and budget and will ensure delivery and deployment of these improvements in a complex and changing environment. This needs to be performed in adherence to the plan and other criteria such KPI’s, Risks & Compliancy and other functional criteria. You run these projects according to the ASML Project Management Methodology (PMM) and Organizational Change Management Methodology (OCM templated approach).

Role and responsibilities

  • Support multiple departments within Sourcing & Supply Chain such as, NPI, Sourcing, Logistics and Quality Supplier management.
  • Deliver and deploy Supplier related Business Process Improvement projects.
  • Initiate and contribute to process and tooling improvements
  • Manage alignment with all stakeholders
  • Interface with other projects and initiatives to guard the interfaces
  • Track of progress and report/present project results and progress in a transparent way
  • Coach the project team members
  • Apply the standard Project Management Methodology.
  • Apply the standard OCM Methodology.
  • Apply lean and process improvement techniques.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree is required with related experiences degree in engineering or supply chain and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Desire for continuous improvement, development and eager to develop and grow your organization.

  • This position is based in San Diego, CA.It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).

The California base annual salary / hourly range for this role is currently $67,875 - $113,125. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
