ASML is a high-tech company with its headquarters in the Netherlands. We, at ASML, manufacture the complex lithography machines that chip manufacturers use to produce integrated circuits or computer chips. Our Customers include all the world's leading chip manufacturers such as Intel, Samsung and TSMC. What we do is at the heart of all electronic devices that inform, entertain and connect us. Electronic devices that you use every day may simply not exist without our machines. In collaboration with our partners, we drive forward the development of lower-cost, higher-performance and more energy-efficient microchips.
Behind ASML's innovations are researchers, engineers and manufacturing specialists who think ahead. Our company is home to some of the most creative minds in physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, chemistry, mechatronics, optics, mechanical engineering, computer science and software engineering. They work closely together in multidisciplinary teams, listening and learning from each other.
In 2020, ASML acquired all shares of Berliner Glas GmbH - an important supplier to ASML for over 30 years. Berliner Glas was founded in Berlin in 1952 as a glazier and glass wholesaler. Over the next decades, the company evolved into a high-tech, high-precision business critical to the semiconductor supply chain. Today, ASML in Berlin is a major ASML R&D and production facility with expertise in optics and wafer chuck technology.
The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Organization is responsible for the life cycle of the ASML infrastructure, installation and buildings. It plays a very decisive role in the development of the Berlin site.
The CRE team consists of members with individual expertise in specific competencies. Joint as a team and in close collaboration we are able to support the business in all aspects of CRE.
Although CRE is managing a significant growth, it also has to guarantee top performance of our critical assets, which includes our facility and utility systems. To manage and to improve our building automation you come into the picture.
It is up to you to make sure that we meet our high standards by 100%. As a functional owner of our building management system (BMS), your main objective is to ensure fully functional systems, 24/7. You will fulfill business critical requirements and great expectations.
In this exciting new role, you will report to the Head of Facility Management Hard Services. You will work cross functional with other colleagues from Berlin in areas such as electricity, hard- and software, network, data, energy and contract management. Naturally, you will work closely with the head office in the Netherlands and bring the regional perspective to the fore.
