The Corporate Compliance team, as part of the Risk & Business Assurance department, is responsible to drive sustainable and cost effective compliancethroughout the global organization.
It is the mission of the Corporate Compliance team to support and empower everyone at ASML, on all levels, in every domain and in all countries to incorporate compliance in the way they make decisions, conduct business and achieve their goals. In addition, the team enables and challenges our colleagues to take responsibility, and feel accountable, for their role in compliance.
Role and responsibilities
The key responsibilities are:
·As part of the Corporate Compliance team (also known as Corporate Regulatory), responsible for managing the development, implementation and continuously improvement ASML’s compliance governance framework for a number of assigned compliance areas;
·Gain an in-depth understanding of the business processes, assess and advice on the relevant compliance risks and mitigating measures;
·Setup and maintain contact with the key stakeholders within relevant compliance areas;
·Identify and drive opportunities in the organization to improve compliance efforts and stimulate compliance awareness and compliant behavior;
·Participate in key compliance related projects in the organization;
·Contribute to preparing reports and presentations for senior management;
·You will work closely together with our risk & control, enterprise risk, assurance and legal functions.
Example of projects and initiatives you could be working on
·Organize, drive and continuously improve global coordination of the team and program;
·Training, communication and awareness programs;
·The incident management process;
Education and experience
·Master degree in Business Administration, (Business) Law or another relevant area, or
·A talented (Sr.) Manager from the Big 4 with affinity for Compliance
·5-8 years relevant compliance experience (designing and implementing compliance programs and related training)
·Experience in a complex and international environment;
·Skilled in translating legal requirements into business processes and controls;
·Program management experience;
·Knowledge of and experience with relevant compliance areas is preferred (e.g. ESG/sustainability; product regulatory and finance related areas);
·Fluent in English.

Position in the organization
The Compliance Manager reports to the Senior Manager Compliance.
As ASML is a listed company in both the U.S. (NASDAQ) as well as in the Netherlands (AEX), compliance is key. It makes this position challenging, complex and crucial within ASML.
