The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) organization is a centralized department which is responsible for CRE activities worldwide, serving >25,000 employees.

As the manager Facility Management, Soft Services & Security you are responsible for the services provided in and around our buildings, factories and main campus in the Netherlands. We provide our 17,000 employees with outstanding workplaces and services, varying from clean offices and production facilities, healthy food, sport facilities, mobility services such as shuttle buses and electrical bikes, to hospitality services such as reception and conferencing & learning centers. Our vision is to provide friction-free services, enabling everyone to have a productive and comfortable day. As the manager you are responsible for the demand team and contractors in the field of Facility Management/Soft Services and Security. Together with your team, you manage the operational services, the performance of the contractors and development of the services in your scope. Your direct reports are Soft Service specialists, Contract managers and Security managers. CRE works with an Managing Agent for the operational and tactical management of the FM services and has single service contracts with specialized suppliers. You will report into the Director CRE Facilities & Maintenance and are part of the management team.

Role and responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for:

    • Performance of FM/Soft services for +/- 350.000m2 in NL (production, offices, premises)
    • Security operations at our NL facilities
    • Contract and supplier management (including Managing Agent)
    • Campus service management
    • Budget management
  • Responsible for the demand team (6 direct reports, 2-5 indirect reports), coaching them on their performance and in their professional development.
  • Responsible for managing and developing the FM/Soft Services policy, the products & service portfolio and all related instruments for professional FM/Soft Services management (such as front-& back office, communications, intranet, Planon etc.).
  • Developing and improving the quality and performance in the FM supply chain, and enabling timely involvement in (new build) projects.
  • Enabling ASML growth by ensuring long-term strategy and related contract & supplier strategy (sourcing strategy).
  • Developing the division’s overall strategy, planning and roadmap.
  • Coordinating the corresponding resource and budget planning.
  • Professionalizing the processes and methods in the demand team, such as financial control, performance management, service design etc.
  • Enabling the growth of ASML by enforcing and driving initiatives in the area of data management, smart FM services, technology and hospitality.

Education and experience

  • Completed bachelor's/master's degree in facility management, organizational studies, business management or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in management role on strategic level
  • At least 5 years of facility management experience, preferably in a comparable environment (industrial/campus/large organization)
