Introduction to the job

As a project management leader, you will manage non-PGP(Product Generation Process) project to help the ASML’s Customer Support organization to meet the Service Level Agreements with customers at the agreed costs and with a sustainable work-life balance. You will have to turn identified improvement areas into a project and align the scope and deliverables with the main stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing the project from beginning till end and need to take into account that typically there is a significant change management component. A successful handover to the CS Field organization at project closure is required to ensure achieved improvements are embedded in the Customer Support organization in a sustainable way. Good communication with the CS Field teams and the involved departments in the Netherlands will be key to success.

Role and responsibilities

  • Leadand deploy project deliverables with global & local stakeholders innon-PGP project
  • Leadcore project members, ensuring effective cross-functional teamwork amongproject team members including both internal and external stakeholders
  • Generateand present the regular project status reports for key partners withongoing risk management
  • Applychange management to drive (a) team(s) towards successful and sustainableintegration of identified solutions;
  • Ensureall deliverables are in place at the end of a project for the lineorganization to secure the achieved improvements are/stay embedded in theirdaily operation.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor degree in atechnical area (e.g. physics, electronics, or mechanical Engineering) orIndustrial Engineering
  • Projectmanagement experience (especially global standardization project)
  • Workexperience in a semiconductor environment (within the area of lithography,patterning, and/or metrology);
  • Workexperience in performance improvement, change management, and/or costreduction programs is beneficial;
  • Abilityto lead and steer small teams which are spread out over differentdepartments and geographical locations;
  • Knowledgeof ASML machines and the ASML CS Field organization


  • Able to build a networkinternational & cross department;
  • Willingness tounderstand the real root cause behind performance gaps;
  • Strong drive towardssolutions and getting them structurally embedded: acting decisively, beingpro-active, taking responsibility, and applying change managementstrategies;
  • Able to drive, steer,and convince others up to manager level;
  • Strong technicalbackground;
  • Adequate Englishlanguage skills in speech and writing;
  • Thrives in a large anddynamic organization with various stakeholders.
