enable ASML to be in control of product master data (model) as the foundation for efficient
business execution, at any point in time.
As a Data Analyst you are responsible for providing insights in product data quality to
enable improvements. Also, you are responsible for optimizing the dashboarding, reporting
and supporting tools we use in the Master Data Management department.

The Data Analyst role is part of the Data Quality Solutions team and part of the Master
Data Management department. The department manages global product related data,
enabling ASML to achieve high data quality leading to operational excellence by supporting
time to profitability. It manages data governance boards for ASML’s manufacturing, supply
chain management, finance and procurement departments.

Role and responsibilities

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Data analytics


• Provide (predictive) analysis for gaps, trends, patterns for MDM relevant
processes and data (quality) – resulting in prototype insights
• Hand-over data quality related actions to Data Quality Expert and support
where needed (e.g. by building BODS data sets).
• Validate effects of implemented countermeasures

DEV responsibilities - analytics


• Based on analytics, create or update dashboard (e.g. Spotfire), incl. different
layers (e.g. operational & management level), resulting in visualizations of
(K)PI/metric and actions or next steps proposal. Next steps include solution
from prototype phase to final solution.
• SPOC towards BI/SCARF/RPA/development teams.

DEV responsibilities – MDM tools


• Implement change requests in MDM tools (e.g. ServiceNOW, Data
Governance Center)
• Make sure the MDM tools stay up to par with the new (IT) standards and
processes

Continuously improve


• Continuously improve the MDM WoW supported by these tools
• Contributing to department’s roadmap

OPS responsibilities


• Responsible to keep the existing dashboards/datasets/analysis/MDM tools
running, if needed reach out to IT.
• Understanding the data sets and sources landscape to use these in an
effective way
• Execute agreed services in line with SLA (update DGC content, update skill
matrix content

Education and experience

BSc degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

  • 3+ years relevant and proven experience
  • Experience with (product) data quality management
  • Experience with data architecture(s) and understanding of data modeling, data sets.
  • Experience with performance management, metrics, KPI’s and reporting.
  • Experience with SAP (or ERP) applications (such as MM, MDG, BOIS/BODS & ECM)
    is a pre.
