In the EUV Factory (NXE/EXE) we are looking for a strong operational Project Lead who can get our Factory Facilities to the next level.Due to the increase of EUV production and the constant need to introduce new products, we need to rebuild our factory.
The Facility Lay-out Operational Project Lead manages a large portfolio of Facility projects, and drives our Corporate Real Estate organization on fast disturbance resolution and correct structural solution on the facilities issues in the EUV Factory.

Role and responsibilities
The Operational Project Lead is the demanding voice of EF towards Corporate Real Estate (CRE) regarding Facilities issues, driving for fast and correct issue resolution, as well as tracking, reporting and implementation of structural improvements. The Operational PL initiates and drives Facilities related projects based on requests from different stakeholders within the Factory or other departments, aiming to meet EF’s needs in terms of safety, timing, costs and quality.
This role aims to secure that correct Facilities are available at the right time to support the Factory, enabling optimized product cost, short lead-times and ‘short time to market’, and also to be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for any Facility operational issue, within and for EF.
Portfolio Lead for Facility rebuild/upgrade project in EF:
- Drive a portfolio of 10-20 parallel rebuild projects in the EUV Factory
- Drive and maintain projects planning of these projects
- Review contractor documentation for these projects
- Drive for a successful project handover from Project to Operations
- Drive execution of large (repetitive) projects, based on pre-agreement with other Facility PL’s
- Manage implementation of remaining punch list items after project delivery and scope changes during projects
Operational Facility owner:
- Drive CRE timely and correct responses towards escalations & operational execution on Facility Disturbances
- Ensure structural issue resolution and feedback on planning of implementation
- Be the Escalation contact towards EF Management / D&E if necessary
- Review Learning sessions (PCCSIMs) – Safety
- Owner of the yearly Facility stop (Pentecost stop)
Education and experience
- Master degree (or bachelor degree with relevant experience) in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical engineering or Applied Physics is preferred and experience with or in Facility related area is a must.
- >5 years of experience in an Engineering, Production or Service environment with high tech products and complex production processes
- Proven track record in relation to industrialization, serviceability or availability and specifically system reliability, diagnostics and recovery
- Experience with analyzing (new) designs to define the critical areas with guidelines for required improvements
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
