 ASML Customer Support is responsible for the delivery, installation, maintenance, and optimization of
ASML IC manufacturing systems on customer locations.

The CS Projects & Operations department is part of the CS Japan organization. It provides operational management support to the Japan operation and serves as a backbone of the operation.
The teams function is to analyze system data and identify trends and improvement opportunities on system performance with strong communication in local operation.
Be the interface and contact window to bridge central (VHN) and local operation on operation performance aspects across sites.
The person will be part of a bigger team of members with functions aiming towards the same goal.
The base work location for this vacancy is primarily in the ASML Japan Yokkaichi office but not limited to it, and the support scope can be for all ASML Japan operation. Travel (up to 15% of the time) can be part of the job, both within Japan and overseas.

Role and responsibilities

To identify trends and potential improvements on system performance and operation
To effectively communicate with local operation teams towards common goals and needs.
To bridge the communication between central and local organization.
To identify local needs and trends with potential improvements to local operation and support global deployments.
・Maintain and analyze system performance data and extract operational information
・Understand local operation to effectively analyze data
・Cooperate closely with local operation and deploy improvement activities in a most efficient way that fits the needs of local operation
・Bridge the communication and construct an efficient two way approach between central and local related to performance indicators and trends.
・Structurally organize and create reports to key stakeholders (both local, central, customers) that will sufficiently inform and update but also provide useful insights towards improvements
・Travel when necessary and participate actively in the development, improvement of local operation and personal growth
・Signal potential difficulties and structurally approach towards resolution

Education and experience

・Technical affinity
・Strong analytical ability with good excel skills. Any additional (like macro creation) is more than welcome
・Presentation and reporting ability
・Structural thinking and process improvement affinity
・Ability to work under pressure, time limits and with peak loads
・Show initiative, take ownership, execute and work independently.
・Have a flexible and creative mind, able to think out of the box.
・Good communication and interfacing skills.
・Able to work with cultural differences, and able to adapt strategies and way of working accordingly.

Education:
Associate, Bachelor, Master degree in any engineering, business management or related field.
Language:
Good level of English both verbal and written to communicate effectively with local and overseas staff on a daily basis.
Business level Japanese skills are preferred.
