Role and responsibilities

As a group leader you will lead a group of technical professionals (~20 people) in close alignment with other groups in the EDEV (Electronics Development) cluster as well as with other discipline groups. You will achieve alignment with program management on the contents and staffing of the activities within your scope. You make well-balanced choices on providing long and short term solutions and hire, coach and instruct the your group members accordingly. You define and assign targets, evaluate priorities, solve problems, monitor budgets and organize a strong customer focus in the group to achieve the responsiveness and reliability we need to secure expansion of the business.

The Group Leader Tin Delivery and Refill is responsible for the following:

  • Organizational & people development of the Tin Delivery and Refill group.
  • Continuous improvement of processes and way of working by leading the collaboration with the other relevant groups & sectors.
  • Driving the development of the group: capacity, capability, training needs, efficiency, flexibility of the group, set priorities.
  • Define the resource and competence roadmap for the team based on the ASML product and business roadmap.
  • Project planning and execution support to assure timeliness and quality of deliverables including scope validation, staffing of projects and resource planning; resource allocation, risk management within your domain.
  • Guarantee design quality and compliance by knowledge, experience and usage of reviewing and risk reducing tools.
  • Act as the Electronic Development representative, interacting intensively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the analysis and solution of reliability issues.
  • Contribution to the definition and implementation of departmental policy and departmental planning, including personnel, budgets, investments, resources and methods etc.
  • You will facilitate an effective learning feedback cycle.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the international high-tech industry, of which minimum of 3+ years in a people leader role.
  • Proven leadership and experience in leading international teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience with ASML standards and Ways of Working is highly appreciated, either as a former ASML employee or contractor.

Within the sector D&E the cluster Electronic Development (EDEV) is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions and modules within these products. Within EDEV EUV the group Tin Delivery and Refill is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions needed for a safe and reliable delivery of high pressure Tin (droplets) used in the EUV light generation process of the latest generation ASML machines. The Group Leader reports to the Department manager Electronics EUV Source.
