Introduction to the job

We are a high-tech company and leading supplier to the semiconductor industry. We manufacture the complex lithography machines that chip manufacturers use to produce integrated circuits or computer chips. What we do is at the heart of all electronic devices that inform, entertain and connect us. More than 1,400 employees develop and manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems at our facility in Berlin.

Role and responsibilities

  • Conducting recruitment and employment contract negotiations for a defined area of responsibility

  • Advising managers within the area of responsibility on all personnel matters

  • Cooperation with the works council

  • Collaboration in the development and implementation of personnel concepts

  • Collaboration on projects in the HR department and across the company
    Evaluation and interpretation of key HR metrics

  • Personnel planning together with the specialist departments

  • Evaluation of employee interviews, target achievement and performance appraisals

  • Close cooperation with HR business partners and the HR team

Education and experience

  • Degree in business administration with specialization in human resources or labor law or equivalent degree (German diploma or master)

  • Professional experience in a comparable position, preferably industry experience

  • Very good knowledge of labor law

  • Experience in managing and accompanying change processes desirable

  • High level of social and analytical skills

  • Persuasiveness

  • Understanding of technical interrelationships is an advantage

  • Self-initiative

  • Knowledge of SAP HCM advantageous

  • Very good command of English and German
