The Lean team drives and supports the Manufacturing Services organization in becoming Operational Excellent as a means to realize the Manufacturing Services Business goals. As the Manager of the Lean team you will be the trusted partner for the business managers, guiding them through this major change transformation.

The Lean Manager reports to the Manager Operational Excellence within the Organizational Excellence department of the Manufacturing Services. The Lean Manager is responsible for all Lean deployment aspects within this sector. He or she drives the deployment and supports and guides teams and leaders with implementing the daily management system, coaches them in developing problem solving techniques and Lean leaders behavior. As a Lean Manager, you will respectfully challenge the status quo and act as a role model for Lean thinking.
Role and responsibilities
- Lead a team of Lean Change Agents
- Driving the business performance impact of the Lean program (A3’s, 4C’s, Breakthrough Initiatives).
- Developing the Lean Roadmap and Organizational Excellence capabilities of the organization (training, coaching, challenge on Lean principles and being a catalyst in driving the change)
- Be role model in adapting Lean principles and coach on Lean behavior
- The holder of this position also contributes to ASML’s System of Mastering Lean by improving the Lean standards used within the Lean team and ASML.
- Challenge your colleagues adapting the Lean principles in our own team
- Improve our daily operations and participates in strategic steps
Education and experience
- Master’s degree, industrial engineering is a pre
- Fundamental knowledge of Lean principles.
- The position also requires experience in both project & change management skills. (i.e. event planning, execution & follow up).
We are looking to hire a candidate that has approximately 5-8 years of experience in leading a Lean team within a Manufacturing and/or Internal logistics environment with proven experiences in Lean Deployment, Change Management and facilitation/training/coaching experience.
