Main Responsibilities:
• Take lead on development and implementation of compliance programs in China
• Promote compliance programs by conducting trainings and other activities
• Help monitor compliance, assist in compliance incident management and investigations
• Provide legal advice and support with respect to business activities, including sales, service, procurement, HR, finance, treasury and tax
• Manage corporate filings
• Manage filing of contracts and other legal documents
• Participate in other legal projects and support other worldwide legal department priorities
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in law from a reputable law school, overseas degree preferred
• Admitted to practice law in China, qualification in common law jurisdiction is a plus
• 5 -7 years of work experience at reputable law firm and/or MNC in-house legal department
• Excellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills in both Chinese and English
• Diligent, proactive, willing to learn, result-driven, detail-oriented and well-organized
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team with diverse background
