Introduction to the job

The FPGA Development Project Manager leads team members in delivering highly reliable electronics and firmware for the EUV Source.  Our project manager will lead all aspects of the FPGA project, focusing on key leverage points and communication channels to manage the triple constraint and deliver on time and within agreed budget.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

  • Utilizes Project Management Techniques & Strategies to effectively control a project from initiation to closure.

  • Effectively engages stakeholders at various levels in the organization, cross-functionally, and within the project.

  • Provides input for required resources & competence mix for deliverables within agreed timeline towards resource managers.  

  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of the solution, on budget, to the program.

  • Defines deliverables for team.  Drives deliverables to finalization on time – intervening where needed.  

  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ design and/or verification experience in embedded system (FPGA) projects from concept through realization required.

  • 5+ years in a project management role.

  • Full development life-cycle experience, from initial requirements to volume manufacturing, of a complex product containing both hardware and firmware elements required.

  • Demonstrated ability to review technical requirements and translate into defined deliverables, adequately scheduled and staffed.

  • Demonstrated experience in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to influence, motivate, mentor and lead team.

  • Self-starter, self-motivator; Takes end to end ownership of projects.

  • Expert in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic e-mail systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or related discipline. 

  • PMP certification a plus.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $105,375-$175,625. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
