Our CRE Center of Excellence (CoE) is responsible to secure continuous professionalization and innovation across the CRE organization and to ensure implementation of and adherence to the global strategies and standards.
The Global Strategy Lead Asset Management is responsible for the development of Asset Management strategies, including Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM), policies, roadmap and guidelines to be used as a blueprint for the regions. The Global Strategy Lead Asset Management’s main objective is to develop a comprehensive asset management strategy to maximize their value and align them with the overall business objectives of ASML.
Role and responsibilities
The role of Global Strategy Lead Asset Management entails the following key responsibilities:
Define, optimize and manage Asset Management strategies that align with the overall business objectives of ASML, including Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM), policies, roadmap and guidelines.
Define, optimize and manage Global Standards for Long Term Asset Maintenance Planning (LTAMP), including utility masterplan global standards.
Develop the ASML vision on relevant topics like Asset Life Cycle management, TCO and sustainability and define how to integrate these in the worldwide maintenance strategies.
From the performance requirements, derive the strategies, policies, standards, tooling and (utility) masterplan for the assets in the particular field of expertise.
Define, optimize and manage Commission & Acceptance process for all contracts and proposals within CRE.
Responsible for global support and guidance to contract and supplier managers at all ASML sites.
Develop and implement the global framework for CRE F&M sourcing, supplier and performance management by sharing knowledge, best practices, formats and methods.
Support and coach peers to establish professional procurement, contract and supplier management strategies and processes.
Provide insights in the international supplier market in the field of F&M and/or support local sites with developing their sourcing strategies.
Facilitate and monitor deviations from the guideline defined by the Global Asset Management team.
Incorporate Sustainability strategy/targets from CRE QEHS into Campus, Workplace and Services guidelines.
Develop and implement the global framework for asset maintenance by sharing knowledge, best practices, formats and methods.
Translate, facilitate and harmonize guidelines to APS (Asset Performance Specification).
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of real estate strategies.
Conduct extensive research into external industry trends and developments to become a frontrunner in trends and developments on Asset Management.
Enable other sites to adhere to the corporate maintenance policies.
Have a leading role to standardize maintenance strategies and performance (e.g. KPI’s) worldwide together with local colleagues and support local colleagues in the translation to their site as a SME.
Keep up-to-date with the best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the strategies, standards and guidelines for Global Asset Management.
Connect and align with business stakeholders within CRE in order to generate improvements and innovations and support these by developing Asset Management strategies, incl Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM), policies, roadmap and guidelines.
Drive business cases for improvement, considering aspects like feasibility, time-to-market, integration and uniformity/standardization.
Solicited and unsolicited advice towards management about optimal Global Asset Management.
Education and experience
Academic working level obtained by education and work experience.
Relevant Master degree, e.g., (Technical) Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate.
Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant working experience in asset management related functions.
Strong experience in real estate asset management, including experience managing a global real estate portfolio.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for Asset Management.
