Introduction
As an Inventory and Operations Support Manager, you understand how planning, inventory storage decisions and stagnations impact the operational performance of our logistics centers. You oversee inventory and stock related processes and decisions, also related to IT systems. You identify how operational performance can be improved via state of the art inventory management, planning and operational excellence both in physical as well as administrative flows. The Inventory and Operations Support Manager is part of the Control Tower within the Logistics Operations Organization.
Role and responsibilities
• Lead two teams of highly motivated team members working on
(1) daily inventory planning in our logistics center and inventory improvement projects and
(2) stagnations in our IT system and
(3) stock corrections
• Oversee and sponsor (multiple) projects related to inventory optimization and operational excellence
• Align with stakeholders from other sectors how to further improve inventory management, IT and stagnation issue resolution and driving these improvements
• Constantly review available storage, forecasted storage, and opportunities to make stock more dense
• Being responsible for floorplans within our warehouses
• Balance daily operations with structural improvements
• Lead monthly inventory steerco preparation for inventory management and stock control
• Understand and have experience with the planning processes in ASML
• Closely collaborate with the other Control Tower teams to successfully plan operational processes, troubleshoot if needed and improve
Education and experience
• >5 years working experience
• Experience in a leadership role is a must
• Inventory management, stock control or supply chain planning experience preferably within ASML
• Experience in leading or participating in cross-sector improvements Projects
• Experience with Lean concepts
Skills
• People management including selection, development, target setting and performance management of inventory experts in the team
• Excellent communication skills (including stakeholder management) and strong in building networks
• Able to keep an helicopter view and ability to switch between operational and strategic level Dealing with conflicts
