Introduction to the job

As Manager Environmental compliancy and sustainability you are responsible to support the CRE organization in the Netherlands to maintain and extend our license to operate, drive the compliance program and control ESG/sustainability reporting.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

  • Manage requiring and apply the necessary permits (e.g. environmental permits) and adhere to legal requirements;

  • Drive compliance program (EHS and ESG laws and regulations) and maintain Compliancy register;

  • Advise on possible improvement actions in the field of the environment and sustainability (ESG);

  • Follow up on improvement plans (Environmental Year Plan and 5-year Company Environmental Plan) and ensuring that the improvement actions included therein are carried out within the deadline;

  • Supervise inspections of local and regional authorities;

  • Internal and external EHS and ESG reporting;

  • Collecting, analyzing and reporting environmental data;

Education and experience

You have a bachelor degree in Environmental or Legal studies.
