This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
The Manager will lead a team of business engineers, managing up to 12 direct reports consisting of:
Business partners directly supporting the Directors and management teams.
Process specialists with expertise on key business processes.
Analysts developing reporting and infrastructure.
The team helps to unlock critical data and information, drive analyses and insights, set up reporting and dashboards, derive improvement plans and key messages. Typical areas for investigation are:
Capacity modeling and scenario analysis to determine resource bottlenecks in the factory (people, tooling, floorspace, supply).
Performance Management & KPI’s to enable management to secure targets related to yield, cycle time, and labor hours while influencing behaviors/decisions at several levels of the organization.
Data analytics: reports & data visualizations to make the performance of factory processes transparent, translating data into information. Data analytics innovations, like process mining, machine learning, robotic process automation, industry 4.0 initiatives.
The Manager makes sure this information is readily available for the weekly and monthly performance reviews (WOP/MOP) and drives the quarterly Norm Review processes, supporting our financial planning. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor of the Wilton Factory staff leadership team and have a close link to the Director of Finance.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree required. Master or MBA desired (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics or Business Administration)
- 5+ years of experience in a technical manufacturing/engineering or production environment
- 3+ years' experience managing direct reports in a supervisory or leadership position is required.
- Knowledge of production (control) processes
- Experienced with IT-systems in the area of production-control (Excel, SAP, SAP ME/BO, SAP HANA, Spotfire, Tableau and Power BI).
