What does an CNC Machinist do at ASML?

Our Optical team at ASML, you will use high-tech manufacturing techniques to fabricate glass into valuable optical lenses and parts with exacting standards.
Attention to detail and pride in your work will be key to your ability to craft parts so precise they meet the extreme tolerances required to focus the laser beams inside of our machines. Your patience, ability to listen and positive attitude are what you’ll need to be a productive and happy contributor in our team-focused fab.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
-You have fantastic hand-eye coordination
-You are mechanically oriented or have awesome technical skills—think automotive repair, CNC tool operator, carpentry or DIY home repairs
-You’re a good listener and a team player
-A background in a cleanroom environment or with SAP parts tracking are a great start, but not required
-High School, trade school or GED education is important
