Introduction to the job
The sector EUV Factory is responsible for the production and installation of EUV lithographic systems. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within the EUV Factory in Veldhoven. Within the EUV Factory the Production Logistics department is responsible for all planning and accompanying logistic processes.
The Master Planning team within production, logistics and facilities is responsible within ASML for the overall NXE and EXE system start/output plan (incl worldwide installs) and including NPI’s as the 3800 & EXE5x00 platform.
The department is responsible for a robust and reliable Master Production Schedules (MPS) that drives the operational teams.
As a Project Lead, you carry the responsibility to generate and implement a planning that secures a high level of delivery reliability for our internal customers (S&SC, factory build/install teams, development /integration, IBP, Sales, Finance, Business Line) whilst safeguards our company output targets.
You will achieve this together with a team that drives factory constraint management, owns the build and install blueprints and continuously looks ahead for risks and opportunities for our factory to secure the target plan.
In addition, you will drive several improvement projects to industrialize further our planning framework.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
As Master Planning Project Lead your main responsibilities are:
Provide an optimized factory production plan that meets company output ambitions whilst it respects our factory capabilities
Provide insight in current move-rate capabilities (i.e. 6p=P readiness); and support actions to drive delta to target
Support departments to drive structural actions & define containment plans to close gaps
Report out on EF management level on assessments and highlight risks
Drive opportunities to use flexibility (on short term), and/or drive capability investments if plan is above capability (long term)
Drive existing and new logistical projects to further develop, automize and implement to further improve Production Logistics processes to improve efficiency
Education and experience
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience within production environment (high-tech environment)
MSc in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
Experience in planning and logistic processes
Experience in project management and stakeholder management
Experience in driving change
Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
