Logistics Internship (Thesis): Production planning in TWINSCAN Factory

Introduction

Are you an HBO student in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Management? Are you looking to do your thesis at ASML? Are you interested to work on the Production Planning team of our Twinscan factory? Then this internship could be interesting to you!

Background information

Production Planning is responsible for the transformation of the machine output plan (MPS), (service) forecast plan and other requirements, into a feasible machine, within the current ASML production guidelines. In addition Production Planning is responsible for the transformation of the module start plan for regular assemblies, such that all requirements will be fulfilled in time and in the most cost efficient way, for ASML.

Assignment description

The Production Planning team is working on many projects. Your assignment will depend on your input and interest.
Some examples of earlier assignments : 
- Buffer management
- Field service defect process design
- Setting up a KPI framework
- Planning strategy review
- Safety stock review process

Your Profile

To be the perfect match for this assignment:

- You are studying at HBO on either Supply Chain or Logistics or Business Management;

- You are looking to do your graduation (thesis) within ASML. Please know that this position is not suitable for gaining work experience (apprentice internship);

- You have knowledge of Microsoft excel and some basic knowledge of ERP;

- You are structured, well organized, with an ability to plan and set priorities;

- You are motivated and a creative problem solver;

- You are a strong communicator, who likes to take initiatives and have a team player attitude;
- You are preferably Dutch speaking due to the daily contact with the factory; Engish is a requirement.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
