Are you a Bachelor or Master student in the direction of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or similar? Do you have a strong affinity with process improvement? Are you accurate and have strong communication skills? Then this internship is interesting for you!

Background information

The Supplier Operations (SO) department, part of the Sourcing & Procurement organization, is responsible for overseeing 600+ suppliers in a network that extends 15-tiers deep. The department’s main objective is to guarantee the timely availability of supplier materials, ensuring the materials meet the required quality standards, at the right cost, in order to meet the increasing requirements of the factories and customers.

As a Support in Critical Material Escalation Intern, you will be working in the Supply Operation Excellence team, a project team that is the core of Supplier Operations department. The primary goal of the team is to continuously improve the processes and ensure the timely delivery of supplier materials to the factories.

Your assignment

As a Support in Critical Material Escalation Intern, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, scribing and providing a diligent follow-up on the weekly Critical Material Escalation meetings.
  • Providing support to day-to-day activities of the Escalation leads, monitoring the status of Escalations and ensuring thorough follow-up.
  • Creating reports for the factory and customers.
  • Conducting Ad-Hoc Analyses.
  • Providing support in the creation and maintenance of work instructions.

Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship you:

  • Are a Bachelor or Master student in the direction of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Have affinity with Process Improvement.
  • Have strong communication skills. English fluency is required, Dutch is a plus.
  • Are accurate, disciplined, structured and well-organized.
  • Are resilient and have the ability to speak-up.
  • Are a team player but also have the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Availability on Fridays is a prerequisite for this position.

This is a Bachelor or Master apprentice internship, with a duration of 6-12 months, for 2-3 days per week. The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
