Introduction

Are you the Supply Chain Analyst/ Tactical Planning Expert that can drive cost reduction throughout the Customer Supply Chain network? You are responsible for defining optimal stock settings and prevent out of stock situations for one of the most complex service supply chains in the world. You will closely collaborate with worldwide supply chain stakeholders on supply chain settings.

You will contribute to the success of ASML by minimizing costs related to stock in the service supply chain. Be part of a team with supply chain talents in which every member has a direct impact on the probability of ASML.

Job Mission

You will steer the global supply chain network by setting the norm levels for inventories and emergency shipments together with key stakeholders in the customer value chain e.g., Platform Lifecycle Management, Supply, Deliver and Field. You will be challenged on how your plans will deliver ASML’s committed customer service against optimal cost.

Job Description

  • Define planning strategies for parts and tools – monthly review of defined strategies
  • Prepares stocking strategies, align with our internal stakeholders and implement the plans in day-to-day operations
  • Analyzes customer supply chain processes to drive down supply chain costs, by leading and participating in improvement projects
  • Highlight any deviations between demand forecast and inventories/supply and resolve within Integral Service Planning process

Education

Relevant Master or Bachelor degree or HBO degree with experience

(e.g Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Econometrics, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)

Experience

  • Experience with optimization algorithms in service logistics
  • Has > 5 years of experience in (service) supply chain
  • Experience in working in a team driven by continuous improvement
  • Strong in statistics and stochastic processes
  • Familiar with ERP – preferably SAP

Context of the position

This Service Planning team is part of the Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) departments. CSCM is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. CSCM manages challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable logistics services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of spare part management network of ASML.
