GMF EF NXE Production Logistics-Tool planner
Introduction to the job
Do you get excited about taking ownership for the planning of a part of our factory in order to secure timely shipment of our most advanced lithography systems? Do you have an education in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration and good organizational and analytical skills? We might be looking for you!
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Role and responsibilities
The Tool Planning department is responsible for the long and mid-term planning, execution and tool staging for the EF work centers.
As a Tool Planner you:
- Analysis move rate capability long term |Prepare pool size for move rate increase
- Pool size monitoring | Adjust pool size based on usage & miss bookings.
- Tool ordering OPEX & CAPEX | Create MRA-IP-prepare businesses case
- Tool order monitoring | Ensure ordered tools are delivered on time
- Tool staging | Prepare tools on time & in full for building blocks
- Controls tool availability on the basis of the progress of one or more work centers within the factory.
- Acts as a representative for the tool planning department in lean/progress meetings of one or more work centers.
- Acts as trouble-shooter in the field of Tool escalation in order to avoid disruptions to the production process.
- Contributes to the improvements in Tools control, planning and parameters by participating in improvement projects.
- Reporting and communication to collaborate with higher management as well as production teams at the shopfloor
- Analysis different planning parameters (for example safety time, safety stock), so in times of changing environment the planning method can be adjusted
- and processing the administration.
- The tool Planner reports to the Tool Planning team lead and works closely with specialists in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Production engineering, Product Lifecycle Management and Global Logistics Services.
Education and experience
- Bachelor degree Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- 1-3 years of experience in planning and logistic processes (from previous work experience or traineeships/internships),stakeholder management, driving change, knowledge ERP systems

- The sector Manufacturing within the EUV Factory (EF) is responsible for the production and installation of NXE systems in Veldhoven.
- The Production Logistics organization within the EUV Factory is concerned with the flow of material and tools from supplier into the cleanroom. We provide executable production plans which meet requested EUV outputs, drive hardware availability during execution accordingly and drive continues improvement
- In this role, you need to work in 2-shift schedule as following:
Mon to Fri from 06:30 until 15:30 and from 15:00 until 00:00.
In this schedule you always have 1 fixed day off per week.
You work one weekend per month from 07:00 until 16:00.
