This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
We are looking for a curious, inventive and capable engineering or physical sciences student to push laser technology to the next level, enabling future advances in semiconductor device manufacturing. Our projects require solid engineering and scientific background and ability to get quickly up to speed and start making positive difference.
Depending on interest/experience of intern, this internship will involve various experiments and analysis of lasers and optical sensors, particularly at deep ultraviolet wavelengths.

Education and Experience
Candidates should be in the process of pursuing a PhD with research in a relevant topic from the following majors: Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry. Other majors will be considered if research area is pertinent.
Hands-on experience with lasers or optics is required.
Strong data analysis competency with MATLAB or Python will be a strength.
