Introduction to the job

The holder of this position reports to the head of P&I Cross Products Performance (XPP) department within Development & Engineering (D&E). The D&E sector plans, develops and delivers integrated solutions that meet business requirements and that specify trade-offs across sectors.

The mission of the P&I cluster in the D&E sector is to release competitive patterning solutions to all customers when they need it. For XPP, we therefore ensure seamless integration of the EUV, DUV, and Application product portfolio in a customer’s High Volume Manufacturing environment.

Role and responsibilities

The Virtual Fab group is responsible for virtual progression and regression testing of new products and node solutions. This concerns interoperability, functional correctness and performance for cross-product solutions. Progression testing covers the complete process of identifying customer-representative use cases and designing and implementing cross-product test cases for these use cases. Regression testing covers the frequent execution of test cases to ensure that new software releases do not introduce regressions. Issues encountered during verification are reported and followed up appropriately. All these activities are done in close cooperation with the product teams in the business lines Apps, DUV and EUV within ASML.

Education and experience

Master’s degree or PhD in a technical area, preferably in semiconductor process technology, physics, material science or equivalent relevant experience through job assignments.

  • > 8 years of work experience in (product) development and engineering projects in a high-tech environment, from conception and initiation to embedded new Ways of Working in the organization.
  • Experience in lithography industry.
  • Experience with multi-site development teams.
  • Experience with group management of at least 10-15 FTE.
  • Experience in software development and verification.
  • Experience with Agile and SAFe.
