Introduction to the job

The Operational Excellence (OE) Deployment Lead is part of the TWINSCAN Factory (TF) OE Staff and team. TF OE is the game changer for TF and directs the structural improvement roadmap towards Operational Excellence. The structural improvement roadmap is the One Single Agenda for TF with all initiatives, programs and activities connected to realizing the TWINSCAN Factory vision. The roadmap integrates Safety, Quality, Lean and Business Improvement and is event and deliverable based. TF OE drives TF to create sustainable improvement on the business performance focusing on a full-scale change of organizational culture. TF OE drives business performance impact, organizational maturity, preparing for the future and growing our people, and provides regular business support.

The Operational Excellence Deployment Lead (OEDL) LAB focuses on the improvement roadmap of the TWINSCAN Factory LAB department (~250 FTE), which is responsible for introducing new products and new processes, and delivering Refurbished and Non-Revenue Asset systems. The OEDL is part of TF LAB Staff and acts as a business partner, challenger and catalyst in changing leadership behaviors. TF LAB has adopted the Agile philosophy and Scrum/ SAFe way of working. For that reason, the OEDL works closely together with the Agile roles to ensure an integrated transformation.

The OEDL reports solid into the Head of TF Operational Excellence and with a dotted line to the Director of TF LAB Director.

Role and responsibilities

Drive the transformation towards Operational Excellence of TF LAB

  • Be an ambassador of Operational Excellence, Lean and Agile values and practices
  • Direct the TF LAB Improvement roadmap, as a result of strategy and goal deployment. While actively contributing to TF Business priorities
  • Act as business partner for TF LAB Staff
  • Respectfully challenge the status quo and be a catalyst in changing (leadership) behaviors
  • Build capabilities by coaching and developing line organization
  • Work closely together with the Agile roles in LAB: Release Train Engineer, Scrum Masters, Product Owners

Grow the TF OE team, as part of TF OE Staff

  • Be an ambassador of and actively deploy our TF OE vision and mission
  • Actively support the development of the TF OE organization
  • Drive OE teams' skills and competencies development
  • Manage stakeholders and relations, to ensure well established relationships to key stakeholders, drive satisfaction and be a trusted partner

Ensure cross-(sub-)sector alignment on knowledge, Best Known Methods, standards and learnings across TWINSCAN Factory and ASML

  • Actively drive sharing and leveraging knowledge, Best Known Methods, standards and learnings across TF OE competences
  • Actively drive synergies between different OE competencies
  • Team up with OE related competencies inside & outside TF, including Competence Centers

Education and experience

  • You are Bachelor Degree level educated
  • You have experience in Manufacturing environments (high and low volume)
  • You possess expert knowledge of continuous improvement/ Operational Excellence/ Lean ánd Agile,
  • You have leadership experience within international/complex matrix organizations
  • You possess Program and Project Management skills
  • You have a proven track record in change management
  • You can lead Value Stream Management and Kaizen events
  • You are fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to local language
