Introduction to the job

Does contributing to the world’s most advanced lithography machines make you feel responsible and proud? Do you want to work in a challenging environment with highly motivated (committed, engaged) and skilled teams, where people are proud and enjoy their work? Are you the enthusiastic engineer who understands what needs to be delivered to the sectors to industrialize the DUV systems in an efficient and effective way? Do you like to organize and steer availability of the manufacturing and service sequences that enable our customers to effectively and efficiently execute their work in the factory and field? Then the role of Sequence Integrator is just for you!

Role and responsibilities

The Recovery Sequence Engineer is responsible, together with his team members, for all the tasks related to supporting the development and maintenance of the ARE/GEAR system models (used in re-calibration of the installed base of ASML’s TwinScan machines). This involves verifying and validating any changes made to the database, communicating with and supporting the editor base and the functional clusters, updating and publishing new versions of the database, assisting with the developing and testing of new tooling, lecturing the ARE editor training and coaching of new ARE/GEAR users and editors as well as enforcing ARE editing policies and guidelines.

The main tasks of a Recovery Sequence Engineer are:

  • Support the content change / migration to GEAR as the new sequencing tool in the ONE project.
  • Management of the ARE/GEAR (calibration damage) system models:
  • Analyze, assist with the implementation, and verify the changes to the models committed by the editor base.
  • Discuss and control the model changes with the applicable stakeholders to ensure the quality of the edits in the CCB meeting.
  • Release and publish the new versions of the model to accommodate the new changes made by editors.

Support related:

  • Take care of comments/complaints from users about current errors/potential improvements to the system model.
  • Take part in discussions and assist other functional clusters throughout the process of implementing major new functionalities or upgrade packages.
  • Instructor of the ARE Editor training -train and coach new editors and users.
  • Initiate and review ARE / GEAR tool requirements for new releases in collaboration with different projects associated with the recovery models.

The Development & Engineering System Industrialization department is a new, enthusiastic and very diverse group, acting as the interface between the development teams on one side and Customer support and Factory on the other side. We are responsible for defining and driving the system industrialization of new product/process/options for full functional machine and performance qualification including process excellence.
In this department we are managing all D&E work preparations for producing and servicing TwinScan machines. This includes all work that is needed to successfully execute the sequence of automated job steps for producing and servicing a TwinScan machine including the responsibility for integrating and delivering recovery system models, aimed to achieve the optimal availability.
