Introduction to the job

The Tool Quality department within the LO Tool Center provides professional Tool Management support to ensure manufacturing excellence. We are responsible to ensure that tools are available at the right time, on the right place according to ASML safety regulations and quality standards.

As a team we are motivated to continuously improve our support in a safe and structural way within a High Tech logistic and technical environment. As part of LEAN deployment we are creating, simplifying and standardizing our processes, aiming to increase the quality and decrease the costs.

The Tool Quality Engineer contributes to the quality of the ASML Tool Management by improving the Tool Center processes, supporting the Tool Center colleagues and by reporting the performances internal and towards our customers.

Role and responsibilities

  • Analyze and define process flows.
  • Define requirements for process improvements and applications to support our processes (e.g. Sharepoint, SAP, Excel);
  • Initiate and implement process improvements;
  • Work closely with various stakeholders within the organization, both on operational as management level. Align on tool management processes, adjacent processes, ways of working and roles and responsibilities;
  • Interact with different stakeholders, from Tool Center and other departments, to setup and optimize the tool management processes;
  • Document and maintain processes, procedures and work instructions;
  • Set up and maintain a transparent reporting to measure the performances;
  • Safeguard the tool management knowledge within the organization;
  • Act as key user for applications that are used to support our processes (e.g. SAP, Sharepoint, Excel)
  • Provide day-to-day support for Tool Center employees.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or similar.
  • Experience with (business) process management, modelling, analyzing;
  • Experience with Sharepoint, Spotfire, Excel, SAP and report tooling;
  • Knowledge about logistical and/or warehouse processes within a technical work environment is preferred;
  • Project management knowledge and Lean methodologies are also preferred.

Other information

Fulltime position (40 hours per week). Candidate will work in dayshift, has to follow the know consignor training and therefore needs to be able to get a “VOG” (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag).
