Job Mission

As ‘Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager’ you are responsible for the Quality Management and Continuous Improvement initiatives within Sourcing & Supply Chain. You are member of a multidisciplinary team that strategically manages quality improvements within supply chain in order to increase the quality of ASML products and services and decrease the cost of non-quality. Main focus areas are driving supply chain to a zero defects, zero repeat and first time right mindset, enabling accelerated learning, performing (business) process improvements optimization and developing the supply chain to a higher maturity level. In addition to being the quality interface within Sourcing & Supply Chain, the QCI Manager will work with ASML stakeholders on: finding structural solutions to material quality non-conformities, supplier capabilities development and managing the feedback loop with ASML stakeholders.

Within S&SC QNI, as QCI Manager you drive changes within the supplier quality management processes to ensure the quality of the product in the future.
Using your knowledge in quality management, analytical thinking, professional network and excellent people skills, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Quality Improvement - Using the Voice of the Customer process(internal/external) & drive improvement of supplied Quality
  2. Quality Assurance - Driving Robust Quality Assurance Process
  3. Quality Competence Center/Ambassador - Promoting & Advancing the Quality Culture

Role and responsibilities

  • Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager drives (a)cross-sectorial collaboration and improvement platforms.
  • Interfacing the business partners, defines and brings to successful completion continuous improvement programs, building quality up-stream throughout the supply chain.
  • Process definition
  • Preparation and facilitation of project meetings
  • Setting up governance models for the multi-disciplinary team(s)
  • Managing communication channel(s)
  • Managing and aligning with internal and external stakeholders across applicable sectors

Deploying decisions from project boards into the projects and execute implementation

  • Strive to set up a transparent execution environment, performance oriented
  • Create impact from an autonomous position

Education and experience

  • MSc degree in Quality management, Supply Chain Management, (Industrial) Engineering, Project management
  • 8+ years relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Experience in high tech, low volume industry
  • Experience in quality management
  • Experience with supply chain processes in production environment (e.g. supply chain improvements, supplier management, customer service, planning)
  • Experience in stakeholder management on various levels
  • Experience in operations management
  • Knowledge of Quality processes (e.g. SPC, FMEA, 8D), Continuous improvement techniques, Lean Six Sigma toolbox, 6σ Black Belt preferred
