You are specialized in facility management services, are strongly customer oriented and have a hospitality mindset. Together with the Soft Service Specialists of Corporate Real Estate – Facilities & Maintenance you are the responsible demand management team for the delivered FM/Soft Services on ASML premises in the Netherlands. With the suppliers and partners in the FM supply chain you ensure a high level of quality, customer satisfaction and integrated service management processes. You work closely with various stakeholders to define the required quality and deliver fit-for-purpose services and working environments. You are able to translate developments like campus management, health & well-being, access & mobility, sustainability or community services into practical service requirements for our suppliers.
Corporate Real Estate is responsible for the worldwide real estate developments, maintenance, projects, workplace and facility management processes related to the highly complex (clean room) production areas and offices of ASML. On a daily basis the campus in Veldhoven facilitates an appealing working environment to +/- 17.000 employees. ASML has several other production facilities and offices worldwide.
Role and responsibilities
Your job mission is to manage and deliver optimal FM/Soft Services for ASML employees. You will be working in a team of 8 FM professionals (2 Soft Service specialists, 2 Contract managers, 3 Security specialists). In this team, you take the leading role as the demand manager towards the Managing Agent and other suppliers. Your job is to organize and monitor the quality and performance of the services that are provided by the suppliers and supervise the daily operations in our buildings, factories and premises. The execution of the services is outsourced to specialized suppliers, the daily operational and tactical management is outsourced to our Managing Agent. In particular, you will be focusing on efficient and integrated service management processes.
You make sure that everything is according to the desired quality taking into account aspects like business risks/criticality and costs. Part of this job is to translate the vision and needs of the business into policies, requirements and processes for the soft services. You understand the internal customer needs and maintain optimal (strategic) connection with Business Partners, Customers, Works Council, HR, IT etc.
You bring a broad scope of knowledge and network in the Facility Management market and keep knowledge up to date to introduce improvements.
Education and experience
BSc or MSc degree in business management, hospitality management, facility management, or organizational studies.
5-7 years of relevant working experience. Experience in large campus and/or production facilities with both office and industrial
environments are a plus. Experienced in demand management role and managing suppliers.

The Soft Service Specialist is part of the department CRE Facilities & Maintenance. This department with +/- 60 FTE is responsible for managing all the buildings and premises of ASML in the Netherlands. Scope of the department are asset management, maintenance, utilities, facility management, security and data management activities. The department is built as a strong demand team, with complimentary roles: Competence managers, Asset managers and Hard & Soft Services Specialist who are responsible for output requirements for the FM services, Contract & Supplier managers that are responsible for managing the supply chain and agreements, and Data management roles that support efficient delivery processes and innovation. You report into the Manager Facility Management & Security
