Introduction to the job

As a Team Lead within the Applications and Business Support (ABS) department you will lead a team of engineers responsible for providing customized application solutions and creating tomorrow’s value with ASML products and services. Based at the ASML HQ in the Netherlands you will lead a team supporting our colleagues and customers worldwide, in countries such as the USA, South Korea and Taiwan.

Role and responsibilities

As a Team Lead within the ABS department you will support your team in meeting our customer’s needs, enabling them to meet their semiconductor process roadmap using ASML technology. This involves a number of responsibilities including:

  • Building a shared vision and providing direction within the team;
  • Guiding team members in development and evaluation processes;
  • Providing feedback regarding team members performance;
  • Increasing overall quality of team output;
  • Ensuring new hires are brought up to speed in a timely manner and consolidate ways of working within training material or KT’s;
  • Ensuring knowledge documentation and sharing;
  • Supporting the relevant Group Lead in efficient Claim/Allocation process;
  • Acting as backup of the Group Lead as necessary.

Education and experience

  • A Master’s Degree or PhD in a technical field. For example: Mechanics, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a similar engineer degree;
  • Experience in a people leadership position;
  • Experience in a customer focused position.
