Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and implementation of the ASML products. The software departments in D&E plan, develop, design, test and integrate complete software packages which drives a generation of ASML products. The products of ASML’s Applications Business Line products are critical elements in high-end semiconductor manufacturing processes. They build on the capabilities of our world-renowned scanners, using them as an actuator to correct distortions caused by other process. The Data and Digital Platform cluster provides industry with a digital platform and trusted data eco system to collaborate and solve the toughest lithography and patterning issues enabling our customers to accelerate their technology roadmap and maximize production of semiconductor devices.
The Quality and Integration (Q&I) department provides development and test environment to enable efficient application development and to perform system qualification and delivery of quality application products.
Role and responsibilities
Job Mission
You will be part of the System Qualification group (SQ) within the Q&I department. SQ is responsible for the system level qualification of application products delivered by development teams into software packages before they are to be released to ASML customers for beta test. Your mission is to setup and maintain the overall test strategy including system level test specification.
Om this way, you will define and realize the test strategy and test roadmap, while taking care of the relevant quality aspects, translating complex changes into risks, making use of relevant customer use cases, and interfacing with multiple products delivered by development teams.
Job Description
Determine overall Q&I test strategy to successfully and consistently enable delivery of high-quality software products and services on time and to specification.
Be part of the ASML software test community and be representative of the group for deploying the overall test strategy including test management.
Take responsibility for maintaining the test architecture and system level test specification, to review test-related deliverables and to maintain quality view before releasing test results to the Quality and Delivery group for beta testing.
Align with test architects, release and function cluster test architects, product and integration architects, leads, and developers in terms of testing. Closely cooperate with the integration and platform deployment teams.
Inspire and coach development and test teams by broadening the perspective on software and system testing methods and approaches and by focusing on software system level.
Education and experience
Education
Master or PhD degree in the field of Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other related.
Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in software development and testing in large-scale multidisciplinary environments
- A proven track record in software testing including test automation and test management
- Experience in developing and implementing test strategies for large, complex software systems - preferably experience in creating test and integration strategies for ASML products
- Experience with system integration and system testing
