This page provides our suppliers with guidance on our policy during the coronavirus outbreak.
The latest policy document is below and will be updated as necessary.
The wellbeing of our employees, our customers’ employees, suppliers and partners as well as their families remains our top priority. We therefore trust that you will follow the guidelines in the policy and additional details below.
Notification of exposure
If an employee in your company has a confirmed case of COVID-19, we ask you to verify whether this individual has had face-to-face contact with any ASML employee in the past 14 days or during the period that the individual would be considered contagious by medical experts. If there has been contact, we require you to do both of the following:
- Inform the involved ASML employee directly (preferably by phone, if possible)
- Send an email to [email protected].
ASML will take the same measures if one of our employees is confirmed to have COVID-19.
Continuity of supply notification
We expect our suppliers to continue supply ASML. If a supply risk occurs – and supply could be impacted – you are required to inform us immediately through your Account Manager or Logistic Supply Manager, provided one is assigned to your company. Please make sure that you specify all of the following:
- The specific 12NC concerned
- The date at which you will no longer be able to supply ASML
- The mitigating actions you are taking and other options you are exploring
We also ask that you actively manage and continuously check your own supply chain for potential risk.
Supplier employees working on ASML premises
Employees of suppliers with regular, critical business activities on ASML premises will need to follow the guidelines from their ASML line manager.
Suppliers with employees who normally work on ASML premises are responsible for providing equipment to allow them to work from home.
Buildings 18, 27, 29, 44, 45, and 47 are closed as of November 2, 2020.
On-site business visits should be limited to business-critical visits only. Your ASML business representative or account manager can help you to decide whether a planned visit is business critical or not. When visiting guidelines apply, you will be informed of them before you arrive. Currently, face masks are mandatory in all of our buildings in the Netherlands. If you are visiting ASML buildings in other locations, please follow local guidelines regarding the use of face masks.
We ask you to comply with these measures as well as any relevant measures defined by your local government and the ASML or customer sites you visit.
If you have any further questions that are not answered here, please contact your ASML business representative or account manager.
If the media contacts you as a supplier with questions about ASML, please contact Media Relations to first align messaging. In principle, suppliers should not provide information about ASML to the media, but we can discuss the possibilities to do so on a case-by-case basis.
