Robert (Bob) Jacques
From designing self-tightening golf shoes to controlling EUV machines
"Being a Fellow doesn’t mean you stop learning – far from it. At ASML, you have limitless opportunities to learn, and that continues when you’re a Fellow.”
Robert Jacques is a control solutions expert who has made a contribution to many different industries, including developing self-tightening golf shoes and vibration-controlled skis. He was one of the first experts in designing the source control of dual-chamber DUV systems and has worked on many of the control algorithms that run on DUV and EUV light sources.
For ASML’s Cymer division, he continues to improve the control of EUV light sources in lithography systems, leading to more stable power output.
