ASML's Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct
The code of conduct ("Code") describes what ASML stands for and believes in. The purpose of the Code is to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, as well as ASML's norms, values and standards. The Code does not provide detailed rules for each situation we may encounter, but serves as our guide in day to day proper behavior. This Code helps us to make sound, ethical decisions that are in the best interest of all ASML stakeholders. We also developed a booklet named “Code of Conduct and Business Principles” which provides further guidance each core value of our Code of Conduct.

Speak Up Policy
ASML has a Speak Up Policy for reporting issues with respect to the Code of Conduct, including ethics complaints of a financial nature (Whistleblower's Policy). Please use the link in the left section of this page to go to the Speak Up Policy.

Responsible Corporate Citizenship
Through our employees, shareholders, customers, and suppliers, we interact with and operate our businesses in many different communities worldwide. We develop leading-edge imaging solutions, and thereby contribute to the technological advancements and modernization of society. As one of the many participants on the global playing field, we believe in acting as a responsible corporate citizen. We therefore:

  • Believe that the human rights as proclaimed by the United Nations in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are a common standard of achievement for all members within the global community, and we encourage the respect of these rights and freedoms;
  • In general support the principles as laid down in the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the Tripartite Declaration of Principles concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy of the International Labor Organization.
