As a Material Runner within the EUV Factory (EF), you support production and logistics operations by packing, transporting, and processing materials. You ensure timely material flow between work centers while working in a two-shift environment. The Manufacturing & Logistics sector within EF is responsible for both the production as well as the installation of wafer steppers and scanners, including the planning and logistics. The entire production of the most advanced machines takes place in this sector.
Role and responsibilities
Packing
- Pack return materials which are offered by Workcenter operators via the Material Runner Request Tool.
Transport
- Move materials between the cabins Prepack is working in and the outgoing airlock.
- Collect and process empty packaging, transport tools and scrap materials which are offered by work center operators via the Material Runner Request Tool.
Goods receipt
- On time delivery and accurate administrative processing of materials to all EF work centers.
Shift transfer
- Take ownership of the Material Runner responsibilities and execute them in order of priority. Discuss which tasks are still open during the daily handover to your colleagues.
- Discuss the day-to-day operations with your colleague working the other shift during the shift transfer.
Education and experience
As a material Runner, you:
- Have at least two years of experience in similar roles and industries.
- Preferably hold a relevant vocational degree.
- Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), such as SAP EWM, and with Excel is a plus.

- English communication skills.
Other information
- You will report to the Team leader Material Running and will work closely with the following departments: EF work centers, Warehouse, Cleaning and Reverse Logistics.
- You will work in a two-shift schedule.
