Introduction

The Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) department works closely with our supply chain to build, maintain and strengthen the ability to deliver on our commitments to our customers. We take on the short-term challenges while building strong, strategic, mutually beneficial relationships with our suppliers that carry us into the future.

The Engineering, Research & Development (ER&D) outsourcing services team with in total 13 employees, focuses on the outsourcing of research and development in the categories of amongst others mechanics, electronics, machine conditioning, software all over the globe to commercial partners, research institutes and universities.


Your assignment

During this internship, you will develop tool(s) to be used by the commercial Category Managers and Sourcing Leads focused on Supplier Performance Management and/or commercial rate information. the exact details of the assignment will be discussed during a potential interview.


Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a bachelor/HBO or master student in Business, IT or something related;

  • Have experience in Excel, BI tooling and data analytics;

  • Preferably have an interest in Business and Sourcing & Procurement;

  • Are a fast learner, pro-active and able to handle complexity;

  • Excel in the English language.
     

This assignment is suitable for a HBO/bachelor apprentice internship or graduation project or a master apprentice internship (non-thesis).

The start date of this assignment is as of September 2025, with a duration of minimum 5 months, 4 days per week - wherefrom minimum 2 days on-site.
 

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
     

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
