Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive innovation? As a Business Analyst at ASML, you’ll help shape the future of semiconductor technology by transforming complex data into clear business decisions. You’ll be part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A) department, where we use data to optimize performance and create value across ASML and for our customers.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you’ll work within the Insight Generation workstream, focusing on Development & Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing topics. You’ll collaborate across sectors to uncover trends and deliver impactful insights.
Your responsibilities include:
Engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders to explain analytical approaches and outcomes.
Defining problem statements and conducting exploratory data analysis.
Applying advanced analytics tools to structured and unstructured data.
Translating data into actionable insights through visualizations and reports.
Supporting cross-sector initiatives with data-driven recommendations.
Identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
Contributing to the industrialization of analytical models
Education and Experience
To succeed as a Business Analyst, you’ll need:
A master’s degree in mathematics, physics, econometrics, engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with business and machine data.
Ability to collaborate across teams and align with stakeholders.
Experience with data processing, statistical analysis, and modern analytics tools is a plus.
Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, R, Spotfire, or Alteryx is beneficial.
Business acumen to translate models into real-world impact.

This Business Analyst role is part of the Distributed Analytics Network (DAN), a cross-sector initiative that enhances ASML’s analytics capabilities. You’ll gain exposure to multiple teams and enjoy broad growth opportunities. The position is based in Veldhoven and may require access to controlled technology under US export regulations.
