Data analytics internship: R&D academy

Introduction

Are you passionate about data and eager to make a real impact in a high-tech environment? Join the R&D Academy at ASML as a data analysis intern and help us transform how we use data to drive decision-making.

Your assignment

Currently, data is underutilized in our decision-making processes. As part of a large department, you are expected to perform the following:

• Investigate what data is available and what is needed.
• Identify key stakeholders and understand their data needs.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decisions.
• Think critically about how to share insights with the right target audiences.
• Analyze existing data sources and identify gaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements.
• Design and implement dashboards using Power BI.
• Create a SharePoint page to centralize and communicate insights.

This is a bachelor's or master's level internship starting in September 2025 onwards, for minimum 4 months or more.

Your Profile

To be a good fit, ideally you have the following criteria:

• You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• You have a strong interest in data visualization and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with Power BI and SharePoint is a plus.
• You are proactive, analytical, and eager to learn.

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

• You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
