Introduction
Within ASML we have more than 7000 software developers who heavily rely on the tailored software development environment as provided by the IT R&D FCDevEnv department. The IT department focusses on a modern, innovative and pleasant workspace for developers.
Our department is responsible for providing the IT for our software developers.
While creating a performing and epic workplace, we do need to be compliant with IT, security and legal policies and controls. To make sure we are continuously compliant we need to monitor all of our DevEnv components with state-of-the-art tooling.
Your assignment
You will be responsible to investigate and proof the feasibility of having a framework monitoring our controls. IT has the freedom to choose from available tools and room for proof-of-concepts. You will be supported by architects and subject matter experts in different fields. Collaboration with the internal customer is also expected.
This is a bachelor apprentice internship or graduation project for minimum 6 months, minimum 4/5 days per week (2/3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is August/September 2025.
Your profile
To be a perfect fit for this assignment, you:
Have a background in ICT, Computer Science or comparable with proven affinity with security topics.
Are familiar with software development.
Have basic knowledge of IT infra technology.
Understand the balance between usability and security.
Are creative, curious, goal-oriented and capable of working independently.
Have good communication skills and understand the value of listening with the aim to understand.
Other requirements you need to meet
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
