Introduction to the job

To maintain & develop best practice in Supplier Relationship Management in respect of selected & approved suppliers to stimulate & support business activities & projects within ASML China business.

To maximize buying strengths for ASML China in order to buy right quality, good services and competitive price for all materials and services, by applying the ASML process and Business Principles (ethics) supplier qualification/tender/bidding/negotiation, etc.

To implement Sourcing Strategies in respect of the indirect procurement goods and services, which covers: Market Intelligence, Supplier Selection, Negotiation of Contracts & Prices to deliver the satisfied service to stakeholders.

Role and responsibilities

  • Establish supplier base for each area defining short & long term sourcing strategies, and aligning with the business
  • Perform procurement according to defined strategies and frameworks and negotiate commercial and legal agreements
  • According to company defined signature policy and authority level, be responsible for the decision-making or proposing on supplier awarding to ensure best (from perspective of quality, total cost, on time delivery and services suppliers are sourced and selected for every purchase;
  • Support on identifying and proposing cost saving opportunity within own scope of responsible commodity by analyzing and comparing. Implement the defined actions to ensure continuously generating savings for nonproduction and target is achieved;  
  • Coordinate cross functional teams to secure the deliverable of project.
  • Manage key supplier relationships and associated SLAs by driving and supporting the success of Indirect procurement Program
  • Works closely with indirect procurement colleagues to evaluate and participate in regional and global sourcing activities

Education and experience

Bachelor(or above)

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Power Point. SAP or Ariba is preferred
  • Strong Commercial awareness, some knowledge of CRE or MRO would be an advantage
  • Strong communications skills, ability to lead cross-functional teams is essential to performing the job.
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally is required
  • Integrity, open-minded
