Position Summary:
ABS IT service desk engineer is the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming service requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.
  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, applications, network connectivity, and user accounts.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support teams while maintaining ownership of the ticket.
  • Document incidents, requests, and resolutions accurately in the ITSM system.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
  • Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role. (open to new entry)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
  • Experience supporting remote users and hybrid work environments.

* Working Location : Hwasung Office (requires travel to other ASML sites) 

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
