Introduction to the job

We are a team of Learning and Development (L&D) Professionals working at the Research and Development (R&D) Academy, developing and delivering learning and knowledge solutions to meet the needs of our technical professionals working within the R&D sector (approx. 15.000 individuals worldwide). In our work, we closely collaborate with our target audience to help ASML grow and innovate. 

Your assignment

As an intern in our team, you will be collaborating with various stakeholders (e.g. Program managers, learning business partners, learning solution designers, trainers, etc.)

Main responsibilities as follows:

  • To develop communication material and advising the program managers in the way of communicating their programs to the end users.
  • Conducting research on available programs, types of solutions, and the support structures we offer co-creation of learning solutions.

This internship is suitable for bachelor or master apprentice internship with a duration of around 6 months, for 4-5 days a week, starting date as soon as possible.

Your profile

You are a (HBO) bachelor or master student in communication, marketing, branding, graphic design, organizational development or a related field looking for an apprentice internship.

To be a perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Have strong research and writing skills, as well as the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise content.

  • Are proficient in graphic design tools and software as this is essential for creating visually appealing layouts.

  • Have experience with content creation for marketing materials or educational resources (nice-to-have).

  • Have great communication skills and are fluent in English both verbally and in writing.

  • Attention to detail and a creative mindset are essential for developing engaging and informative content. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines are crucial for success in this role.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
  • You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
