Introduction
The Reticle Masking (ReMa) module is inside the optical path of the DUV machine containing various mechatronic challenges. The ReMa module works with blades on an air-bearing. The gap between the bearing and the blade is required to be accurate for optimal performance. As an intern, you will get the chance to study, process, and examine the tool to perform a contactless air-bearing performance qualification for critical parameters. The internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment.
Your Assignment
You will focus on the following key responsibilities:
Examine existing material with respect to sensor selection and provided data;
Model the expected blade behavior and propose qualification method;
Validate the model and integrate the tool;
Synchronize sensor data with motion.
This is a HBO or Master's (apprentice/graduation) internship for at least 6 months for minimum 4 days a week (2 days onsite). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.
Your profile
To be a fit this assignment, you:
Are a Master student in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or similar;
Have knowledge of Mechanical Design process;
Have affinity with C++ and Python;
Are outgoing, proactive, well-organized, stress resilient;
Have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Other requirements you need to meet
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
