Introduction

Warehouse operation specialist is responsible for logistics activities by performing 3PL management, cost control, inbound/outbound, scrap, return to factory, and administrative and clerical duties based on requirements by stakeholders.

Job Mission

Ensure our mission of Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) organization “We deliver material to our Customers in the Field on time, in full, and at the right quality and cost” by collaborating with internal / external stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Logistics operational process

    • Logistics process optimization (Standardize, Streamline, Simplify)
    • Daily / Weekly / Monthly logistics reporting (inventory aging, local warehouse space utilization, shelf life, scrap, critical inventory, overdue engineering stock, etc)
    • Reverse logistics for critical materials
    • Handling operational system disturbances
  • Control 3PL performance

    • 3PL operational accuracy (Outbound shipment, Critical part returns, Inventory management)
    • Daily operational backlog control at local warehouse
    • Measure 3PL operational performance (KPI) compared to SLA (service level agreement) contract
    • Remove operational error and setup corrective action & preventive action
    • Safety control & Risk management
  • Logistics cost control

    • Review logistics cost
    • Monthly 3PL payment process
    • Budget/Spending control & analysis
  • Logistics project

    • SAP – WMS system interface
    • Local warehouse infra project (relocation, expansion)
    • Cost saving project
    • Order fulfillment project

Education and experiences

  • Bachelor degree or above with major related Supply Chain Management / Logistics & business administration
  • More than 5 years of working experience in Supply Chain Management and administrative operation
  • Professional competency on Supply Chain Management E2E flow preferred
  • Experience of 3PL warehouse providers management is a plus
  • SAP experience highly preferred
  • Project management experience desired (Milestone planning, Stakeholder management, Cost monitoring)

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good command of Japanese and English, both verbal and writing
  • Self-motivated, self-supervised with ability to work in a team as well as individual
  • Ability to perform with sense of responsibility under high pressure and timelines
  • Result oriented with convincing pro-active attitude, “can do” mentality, flexible and highly committed
  • Flexible and able to work in a very dynamic and fast paced environment
  • High focus on process standardization and efficiencies via LEAN
  • Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities
  • SAP knowledge, MS Office skilled

Context of the position

Customer Supply Chain is responsible for all customer supply chain activities (machines deliveries, upgrades at customer sites, spare parts management), inbound and outbound flows to and from the factories.

Strong interfaces with other supply chain departments, ASML Factories, Central Planning, Field offices, Account Team and Customer Service departments will be required.
