Building Technology Commissioning Manager and Engineer

Our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) department is responsible for all buildings, infrastructure, and facilities of ASML over their entire service lives. CRE is not just responsible for managing the significant expansion of our (production) facilities and installations, it also ensures the performance of our critical systems at our cutting-edge technology company.

Your tasks

For our projects, such as the conversion of production areas while operations are ongoing or extensive new constructions of production and office buildings, your are the central point of contact for all matters related to commissioning, acceptance, and handover. 
  • As Commissioning Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team with many helpful colleagues. We offer you a flexible and open working environment, where you can decide for yourself how best to solve the challenges and problems in the following areas.
  • You are the central point of contact for project matters related to the process of commissioning & acceptance and provide expertise and quality. Your area of responsibility extends from the early planning phase to the handover to building operations.
  • You ensure, in cooperation with technical experts, that all technical specifications, guidelines, standards, and legal requirements are observed, met, and followed from planning to commissioning and handover.
  • You are responsible for monitoring compliance with all technical quality standards as well as all relevant requirements for the assessment and approval of project results.
  • You evaluate (in conjunction with expert colleagues and suppliers) the functional capability and effectiveness of all assets and manage the process of commissioning, acceptance, and handover to technical service providers.
  • You identify possible improvements to processes, systems, and technical equipment/procedures, thus opening up new potential.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, economics, facility management or comparable education
  • At least five years of experience relevant to this role in the areas of commissioning, building technology, or asset management
  • Sound knowledge in the areas of building technology and electrical engineering
  • At least basic knowledge of construction engineering and technical commissioning
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German

  • You have excellent communication skills and can work successfully with various stakeholders.
  • You can prioritize deliberately and you are adept at dealing with project participants, external service providers, and engineers. 
  • You enjoying working on a team and are responsible and decisive.
