Introduction

IT Delivery Support is a department of around twenty professionals within the IT Office of the CIO (OCIO). We specialize in monitoring and reporting on a diverse range of IT services, ensuring excellence in Financial topics, Compliance, Portfolio Performance, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Backoffice Operations, Housing and Communications for IT & Data. Our dedicated team is committed to driving efficiency and transparency across the IT organization
 

Your assignment

ASML is on a growth trajectory, logically the IT organization needs to support the growing needs of the company and we need to be prepared for the future. In a big organizations there is always a certain amount of repetitive tasks to be performed. Proper analysis in combination with technology can limit these and remove “waste” from our processes. We are looking for you, an intern, who could either help us making our work more efficient or in applying office (low code) automation to streamline our day-to-day activities.

This role offers a great opportunity for an intern to make a significant impact by automating and streamlining various processes within the IT organization. Additionally, gain insights into the daily life within a global multinational company in the high-tech sector.
 

Key deliverables you could think of are:

  • Root cause analysis, leading to;
  • Automation of the creation of projects for our financial administration;
  • Streamline updates to the IT budget within our reporting tools.
  • Implement automation for weekly checks, such as ensuring compliance with time writing guidelines and reporting.
  • Develop a communication plan to enhance the visibility of our team within the IT department.
  • Improving our knowledge retention program.
     

We are open to discuss any topics on what might be suitable for both the intern and us. At the end of the internship, we expect to work more efficient than before you joined us.
 

This is a bachelor or master apprentice internship for 4 or 5 days per week, for minimum 5 months. The start date is up to discussion.
 

Your profile

To be an ideal candidate for this internship, you should:

  • Have a background in Business Administration or a related field focused on process optimization.

  • Familiarity with financial processes and good analytical skills

  • Have a strong affinity with IT & Data management.

  • Be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team (a real team player).

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
     

Other requirements you need to meet

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.

  • If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
