Introduction to the job
As our Chief Product Owner (CPO) for the OMEGA Train, you will play a key role in delivering the laser beam functionality that powers ASML’s EUV Source. The EUV Source is a critical component of our lithography systems, generating light by firing laser beams at tin droplets. Your work will directly impact the performance and productivity of our EUV systems.
Role and responsibilities
You will lead the OMEGA Agile Release Train (ART), which is responsible for delivering 10 µm and 1 µm laser beams with the required quality and intensity. The train consists of approximately 165 internal employees and 20 external partners across 16 multidisciplinary teams.
As CPO, you will:
- Translate the functional roadmap into executable plans and deliverables (hardware, functionality, CPDs)
- Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of the train’s deliverables
- Align with senior stakeholders across product lines, engineering, and supply chain
- Guide Product Owners and teams to maximize value creation
- Ensure the train’s long-term plan aligns with product master plans for both NXE and EXE platforms
- Balance priorities across innovation, customer needs, and lifecycle management
You will work closely with the Train Architect, Release Train Engineer (RTE), and Functional Owner (FO) in a dynamic and complex stakeholder environment.
Education and experience
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

- Previous experience as a (junior) CPO and/or D&E Project Leader
- Familiarity with program cluster processes such as LTCP and TAP
- A strong understanding of EUV system architecture or the ability to acquire this knowledge quickly
Skills
Working at the cutting edge of tech, you’ll always have new challenges and new problems to solve – and working together is the only way to do that. You won’t work in a silo. Instead, you’ll be part of a creative, dynamic work environment where you’ll collaborate with supportive colleagues. There is always space for creative and unique points of view.
