Introduction to the job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Cost of Goods Manager to support our SS&P Clusters and Business Line in achieving the Product Cost roadmaps.

In this role you closely collaborate with a.o the SS&P (Senior) Account Lead, PLM (product life cycle management) product management and Finance.



Role and responsibilities

You will be part of the SS&P Cost of Goods team is which is part of the Supplier Collaboration & Quality department.  Our team vision: Be the trusted Business Partner in control of cost of goods enabling long term profitability of ASML

Key responsibilities of the SS&P Cost of Goods Manager include:

  • Owns and drives the integral CoG governance across SS&P Clusters and Business Line, which includes amongst others Product Generation Process, TAP/LTFP and management roll-up​

  • Orchestrates monthly cadence by issue reporting, driving actions and messaging roll-out from supplier accounts to business line (platforms)

  • Manage cross business line SS&P cost down initiatives (cost levers)

  • Execute, together with peers, on the SS&P Cost of Goods team ambitions: Cost as a capability: global Cost community, Improve Cost roadmap completeness and predictability. Increase (team) efficiency; Effective CoG collaboration: improve CoG funnel management; Cost as a spec (Close the loop ‘right’-side to ‘left’-side of the ‘V’)

  • Lead efforts to standardize and automate CoG processes, driving continuous improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Promote the creation and sharing of CoG management knowledge across ASML, ensuring best practices and insights are accessible to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Support in priority setting for Cost Engineering.

The SS&P Cost of Goods manager is supported by SS&P Cost analysts and Project leaders that hierarchically report into the SS&P Cost Analyst/PL line manager.



Education and experience

  • Master’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, Supply Chain, or relevant adjacent areas.

  • Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience (preferably 5+ years within ASML)

  • Experience in a leadership or managerial role, demonstrating the ability to lead natural teams and drive performance.

  • Experience in Project Management (a/o consultancy) in a volume and NPI environment

  • Experience in Cost of Goods management - strong understanding of cost structures and drivers

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
